Ball & Claw Newsletter #2: Happy New Year!!!

The holidays came and went so quickly, as did the whole of 2024. Hard to believe that this time last year our offer on the future home of Ball & Claw was just accepted. Talk about a whirlwind. In February we closed on the property and by the end of July, the shop was open. The first 6 months have truly exceeded my expectations.  Many new friends have been made, and old friends have been reacquainted.

So many wonderful people have come through the doors and been incredibly generous with their compliments and purchases. It means the world to a new small business like this one.

We have big plans for this year at the shop. The upstairs should be open in the next few weeks - get ready for a book shop, sale room, workshops and more antiques. There are also exciting plans coming to the cafe - extended hours, new food options, pop ups, collaborations and more.

A few amazing new dealers will be joining us this month. I can't say who yet, but it's very exciting. Come and check out some amazing new/old art, furniture and estate jewelry that is fresh to the market.

We are starting Monday Backgammon Club this Monday, January 6. Every Monday we will get together from 4-6 and learn, play, challenge and enjoy backgammon. All levels are welcome.

Happy Hour returns on the second Friday of each month, starting January 10 from 5-8. Swing by for some free pizza and wine, and have some laughs with friends and neighbors. There's also lots of special deals on things in the store.

I'd write more, but my computer decided to crash and I'm typing this out on my phone.

We all look forward to seeing you soon. Thank you again and wishing you a healthy and happy New Year.

Xoxoxo
