Ball & Claw Newsletter #9
Thank you. Thank you for signing up for this newsletter. Thank you for visiting Ball & Claw. Thank you for bringing your friends and family to the shop. Thank you for posting about the shop; Thank you for buying things from the shop. Thank you. We wouldn’t be here without you and we truly appreciate our guests.
Many people can’t believe that we keep the shop open 7 days a week, from 10 - 6 (often later). I wouldn’t be able to do it without the dedication of Jason, Allison and now Miranda. They let me run around the region and the world, looking for more and more treasures for the shop. I am so thankful to them for all of their hard work and help lugging heavy furniture upstairs, cleaning out mold and cobwebs, and taking great care of all of our guests. Thank you crew.
Here’s some stuff that is happening in the coming weeks.
This Thursday 12/18 at 9:30am - it should be warm enough for us to pull out items from the UK container. With all the snow and ice, the furniture got piled inside and we didn’t have time to sort through it. There are lots of small & large tables, stools, a couple of leather chesterfields, some dressers, a 400lb cement doggie, and who knows what else. Whatever we can fit will be brought into the shop and the rest will live in the container for a little longer. I will be selling things in the parking lot too!
Friday December 19
Holiday Happy Hour - 5 - 8pm
We will be open until 8pm, so swing by after work, before you go the show or party, and have a cup of cheer and buy some treasures! We have lots of great gift ideas from $5 to $5,000!
Tuesday December 23
Procrastinator’s Pop Up Shop and a Date with Santa Claus 5 - 8pm
We know, we waited until the last minute, too, but we’re going to have a party. Lots of our dealers will be bringing in some special items for your naughty and nice list, including vintage furs, silver & gold, sparkly things for New Year’s Eve and more. BONUS - Santa Claus will be in the house and yes, you can sit on his lap and get your picture taken with him. He’ll even give you a little present and pour you a glass of bubbly.
Christmas Eve - Open 10 - 3
Christmas Day - Closed
New Year’s Eve - Open 10 -3
New Year’s Day - Closed
In other news, after a lot of deliberation, I have decided to close down the coffee shop. There are many reasons, but most importantly, I just want to be an antique shop. I do look forward to seeing what the future brings for the shop and I have ideas for pop ups and food trucks out in the yard in the warmer months. But for now, I look forward to filling the shop with carefully selected art, antiques, cards, jewelry, books, candles, rugs, and more .
Wishing everyone peace, health and happiness.
Much Love,
Maria
